This is how to make money blogging

Blogs are all the rage these days. It seems like everyone is blogging. Yet, not everyone is making money. Why is that? The answer is simple. Bloggers need to post consistently and have patience. Most new bloggers quit posting after three months, either because they lose interest or because they haven’t made any money yet. Blogs can and do make money every day. Your blog could be one of them. By following a few simple tips you can learn how to make money from a blog.

Choose a Blog Topic

Here is where a lot of new bloggers go wrong. Too often new bloggers pick a topic that they’ve researched to be the most-sought-after information. Since it is information that everyone is looking for, they should, therefore, get plenty of traffic. And while that makes perfect sense, if it is not a topic the blogger is passionately interested in, the blog will ultimately fail. You can only fake passion for so long. It is far better to choose a topic you can talk about for hours. While you may bore your family with the topic, the truth is there are hundreds of thousands of people on the internet who share your passion and will hang on your every word. Blog about what you love, the money will follow.

The Mechanics of Blog Posting

It is better by far, to purchase a domain name and pay for blog hosting. Why, because you have total control of your content. Some blog hosts impose restrictions that can limit what you offer for sale and the ads that you can post. Domain names are inexpensive, usually around $20 and hosting begins at about $60 per year. Ideally you should post a new blog entry at least three times a week. Blog posts can vary in length from 250 words to 800 words or more. You are in charge; so you get to decide.

Bringing in the Dollars

There are many ways to make money from a blog. Perhaps the easiest first step, is to subscribe to Google’s AdSense. Subscription is free and Google will place ads on your blog that is related to your content. When someone visits your blog and clicks on one of the ads you make money. All very simple. You can also submit your blog to paid review sites such as PayPerPost and ReviewMe. These sites pay you to write a blog post about their product.

It’s easy to learn how to make money from a blog. The hard part is following through, being patient, and posting regularly. Wish you all the luck
